Terms and Conditions
Concert Pension Administration Services Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Concert”) has been established to meet the administrative requirements of automatic enrollment for workplace pensions from 1 October 2012. The Pension Administrator is a trading style of Concert.
Our Services
Concert’s automatic enrollment administration services for workplace pensions (including payroll where required) are designed to provide an administrative solution for employers to help meet their duties for automatic enrollment.
- We commit to providing a service, with a team who can be contacted by email or phone throughout the working day (10am to 4pm), 5 days a week (excluding Bank Holidays).
- Administration is performed in line with the requirements of The Pensions Regulator and Department of Work and Pensions.
- If there are changes to legislation, Concert will advise you and implement the necessary amendments as appropriate.
-
Concert will provide administration and support services only. Concert is not regulated to give financial advice, therefore:-
- No regulated investment or financial advice will be given to the employer or employees at any point. If you require advice we recommend you take appropriate advice from a suitably qualified financial adviser, or other professional.
- Requests for financial or other advice from the employer or one of their workers will be referred to the professional adviser connected with the scheme, according to our records. If no adviser has been appointed, the employer, or the worker, will be asked to appoint one.
- In the event of termination of services, all fees then due to Concert shall be payable and no fees shall be refundable. Notice of termination must be given in writing from either party and the period of notice is 28 days. After this period we will cease to provide any services and register our removal as a delegated party for your workplace pension scheme(s).
Your Obligation
It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that they comply with the requirements of automatic enrollment legislation at all times.
- We only commit to providing administration services to an employer, who has, or is establishing an account as part of their workplace pension scheme, and if appropriate delegated authority for on-line access is granted by the employer to Concert.
- Concert will only act as sole authorised delegated authority. This does not exclude access to the system by other professionals who act on behalf of the employer but restricts the administration to Concert and the employer or the employers nominated agent.
- It is the employer’s responsibility to provide Concert with accurate and timely information in order to meet the legal requirements of automatic enrollment. If the employer fails to provide correct information, or settle liabilities, they will be solely responsible.
- To implement a workplace pension, the employer may be required to set up a direct debit account directly with the scheme provider for the payment of contributions for their employees. Concert will not accept any contributions from the employer or the workplace pension scheme provider.
Our Fees
A comprehensive list of services and our fee structure are set out in our ‘Schedule of Fees and Services’. All fees for administration services, provided by Concert, are subject to VAT.
- Up to 50% of the ‘Base Cost’ for our implementation service must be settled upon application. Upon settlement, a full invoice, confirming receipt of the payment, will be issued to the settler.
- The balance of the Implementation fee will normally be due 6 months prior to the Staging Date. Following the ‘Implementation’ phase, Concert will establish the first pension contribution schedule for the workplace pension to assist the employer.
- When ‘Ongoing Support’ is required, fees will be payable monthly in advance by direct debit or annually in advance by any other method of payment. Our tariff will be reviewed annually and three months’ notice will be given of any changes.
- All fees quoted are on the basis that employer contribution payments are made on a monthly basis. Additional fees may apply if contributions are established on a more frequent basis.
- All fees quoted are those that Concert seeks to charge in normal situations. Concert reserves the right to charge higher fees when circumstances are unusually complex and time consuming. As this situation may not be apparent at outset Concert will use best endeavours to advise clients as soon as possible if it is intended to invoke additional charges.
If we need to make any amendment to the Terms and Conditions, in order to comply with a change of law or regulation, at the request of The Pensions Regulator, or for any other reason, we will give you 30 days’ notice.
We strive to provide the highest standards of service.
